上海宏润博源学校学生会竞选活动，原参选名单上仅19位学生竞争9个岗位，后来又临时上台3位学生参加竞选。竞选者必须用中英双语演讲。以下是上海宏润博源学校学生会主席中英双语竞选演讲。

　　学生会副主席Vice President of the Students' Union

　　根据我们的手册，我认为副主席是几个部门和老师之间的联系。学习是我最重要的任务，这不是我放弃一个做我真正喜欢的事情的的理由，那就是加入学生会。如果我有幸当选，我保证我会尽我最大的努力，即使我埋头于SAT或托福考试，我也会履行我的职责。

　　According to our student handbook, I think the vice president is the connection between Students' Union departments and teachers. Although 11th grade is the busiest year for us and how to balance study, the top priority for me, and the work of Students' Union may be a challenge, it is not a reason for me to give up an opportunity to do some thing I really love, i.e., to join the Students' Union. If I'm lucky enough to get elected, I promise I will try my best! Even when I am burying myself in SAT or TOEFL preparing, I will fulfill my duties.

　　学术活动部长Coordinator of Academic Activities

　　我并不像那些有趣的灵魂张嘴就可以给大家带来欢乐，也不像那些很厉害的人，可以一个人独当一面，负责这个、那个...但是我觉得每个人都有自己最有趣的一面。我希望通过负责各种学术活动的尝试，来找到自己那有趣的一面。

　　我竞选学术活动的部长，也是想把这种欢乐的学术氛围传递给各位!

　　I am not an interesting soul that can bring joy to everyone just with words that depart my lips; I am also not a super-capable person that can be in charge of this and that; Yet, I believe everyone has his/her interesting or capable side. I hope I can find that interesting side of me by shouldering this responsibility.

　　The reason why I want to run for the Coordinator of Academic Activities is that I want to pass on this joyous academic vibe to you all.

　　体育部长Coordinator of Sports Activities

　　今天我想竞选体育部长，在这方面我也有丰富的经验。我组织并参加过多次运动会，在小学和初中都曾是篮球队队长，高中的时候也是篮球队里打球比较好的。作为体育部长，我的责任是把大家团结起来。我见过的运动会，有些是比较传统的田径项目，有些是团队竞赛项目如篮球、足球、排球。不过，有些时候学生的参与热情不是很高。我曾到云南的一个小村庄里给小孩子们上体育课。我在那里也积累了些成功的经验。我想在传统体育项目上进行创新，组织些适合每个老师和学生的体育项目。我想我非常了解大家的需求，也有信心做好。Today I want to run for the Sports Department. I have joined and organized a wealth of sports meetings before, and thus have rich experience in this. I was the Captain of the basketball team in primary school and junior high school, also the first five in senior high school. As a leader, my job is to bring everybody together. The sports meeting I have taken part in，some are traditional, just like track and field. Some are team competitions, such as basketball, soccer and volleyball. But sometimes, people didn’t have the enthusiasm. I went to YunNan to teach PE lessons in a small village. I had some successful experience there. As for me, I will create some new program, maybe connected with traditional sports or anything else that is fit for every student and teacher. I’m confident that I know what you guys really want to do.

　　生活部长Director of Residential Life

　　着力为同学们搭建一座与后勤服务、保卫科等有关机构的桥梁。

　　我个人执行能力很强，我很有自信可以管理好我们同学寝室的卫生及其他事物，我也会及时的帮助生活老师做事情，成为老师的左膀右臂!

　　假如我成为了生活部部长，我会尽心尽力为同学们服务，让大家在校园中里度过的每一天都过的很精彩!

　　I will be a fine bridge between the students and the school logistics stuff, security department and so on. I am a doer and quite confident that I can help our dorm parents to improve our dorm life.

　　If i am lucky enough to get this position, i will try my best to serve you to make you enjoy each day here.
